Harris Poll-USA Today Football Coaches Poll Released

What’s on the cards for USA football matches results? The USA Today Poll has been released today. What were the best teams in this poll?

According to Jerry Palm, a national BCS analyst, the USA Today poll results suggests Alabama is on number 1 position, with Oklahoma on number 2 position with just a one-point lead over Texas, followed at the heels by Florida.

The coaches poll counts for one third of the Bowl Championship Series formula. So does the Harris poll. which won’t be revealed until the entire BCS standings are announced.

Commenting on the difference between a computer generated and a human poll, Jason, a football fan said, ” Based on the two polls that are out so far (one human, one CPU) Texas still leads OU. Assuming the second human poll (Harris) trends the same as the Coaches, Texas will stay ahead of OU. Even if the Harris stays the same OU probably won’t pick up enough ground in the CPU polls to pass Texas.”
